Research tips?
Could anyone give some recommendations on research. Which branch should you start with? Does it depends on the fraction you play with?

Do civil ones early on to make cash and help with public disorder, sanitation etc. The military ones don't help much and take ages to research. If you build as many schools as you can then that will reduce the research times a lot, so later the military research tree becomes feasible.
