How do I recruit high and late Templars and Hospitallers as Jerusalem?
I've just researched the tech that advances early troops to high and realised that all knight order units seem stuck on early tech. I've checked the Jerusalem unit roster in custom battles and I can see there are appropriate upgrades for the knight orders but I don't see how to recruit in campaign.

You need a specific religious building out of the three possible upgraded. That being said you also need a certain tech as well. Dont know the specifics off hand but I can look next time Im in game.

Has anybody managed to progress this further? Playing as Castille (now Kingdom of Spain) and I can't progress my Templar units beyond early, even though my Hospitlar and Spanish Knights are late...
