Texture problem
Ok, I download this map and get in and nearly every texture is either an error sign or the dreaded black and purple textures. I downloaded the night version to see if it was just this once, but I had the same problem. I am determined to make this map work. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Follow this tutorial. Also make sure to read the comments as well. Make sure to not only download the CS:S content but also HL2:Ep1 & 2 content. That is all you need.

where can I find the HL2 content packs you are talking about?

Look for the respective SteamAppID's for the rest of the half life 2 content. Installation process should be mostly the same.

Every game on steam has a unique App ID. You can find what the ID's are for each game's content you need at this site here; https://steamdb.info/apps/

To completely remove all error models and textures, you will need to download CS:S content, as well as Half-Life 2 Episode 1 and 2 content. The guide tells you how, and where to install the downloaded game content folders to.

I hope that clears that up for you.

I cant seem to get it to work. I have CSS, but i can't figure out what im doing wrong for HL2. Is there any other things I can do?

i have the textures of csgo from cssheater and they work great in to all maps
only the yours doesnt work....
why?
