Hello, how are you? :)
When your in SFM, click on file, then load, then follow this root:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\elements\sessions
Click on the session called "ucn_mugshot_lighting.dmx" and you should be all set.
(No offense, just asking
I haven't updated it. Are you sure your character is near the small green plane? It's intended to be a marker where all of the lights are projecting.
If your SFM continues to crash, then render your image as a Poster and add this overlay in whatever image editor you use:
https://gyazo.com/ef66e215e370bb2bbe7a5a9d87403640
(Delete all of the green from the center of the overlay for it to work.)
What Image editor should I use?
Any is fine, I personally use a free program Paint.net.
You can get it here if you would like to use it:
https://www.getpaint.net/download.html#download
I recommend using "black_void.bsp".
