I do not think so. Actually the only thing the Hypercube does is activating Vortex Flight (I don't even know what THAT does) and flying to The Shrine Of The Blue Box. I heard in some discussions that there are more hypercubes that can be found somewhere, but I have no idea where they are supposed to be found and what they would do.

There are no other hypercubes (as of this post) as they are in development. Think of this one as just a demo. But yes, the idea is to use them for quests or something.
