It's not the map.... it didn't tell you to download any sound add-ons so you might be going crazy or slender man is behind you

Any spooky noises you hear, footsteps, crying etc are all a part of the ambience of the map. I will admit it is working well, however, there are no jumpscares on this map at all if you're playing without any addons that include jumpscares.

I dont think maps can have NPC's in them unless its headcrab zombies antlions and more, Since if they put a mod in it itd probably be an error following you.. Unless you have the mod that they put in there

i downloaded a minecraft cave sound pack and that made this map too scary for me.

oh god when i first played java i quit when i walked to a cave but i found you can turn the cave and water sounds down
