Can't produce x at building / Can't upgrade building / Can't build ship
Do you have a problem with crafting, ship building, or upgrading not being possible at a certain building?

Please note: This mod adds a mechanic that makes craft recipes and upgrading dependent on research! This is not a bug.


CRAFTING: Many recipes will only be available if a research is completed.

* Please see the tech tree to view the research needed to produce certain items, as well as possible other research that has to be done first! *

Base game ressources: Pies (bakery), warm clothes (tailor), high-quality tools (smithy, steel (blast furnace), steel tools (castle smithy), alcohol (tavern)

Mod ressources: Ironwares (smithy), furniture (carpenter), wine (winery), weapons (castle smithy), jewellery (goldsmith)

Ressources from other mods and the correspeonding craft recipes may be dependant on research. Please read the mod descriptions of the respective mods for that information!


UPGRADES: Many building upgrades require research to be done first. The information about that will be shown in the building window, telling you the name of the research that is needed.
* Please see the tech tree to find the research and possible other research that has to be done first! *

Base game buildings: Small house, house, hostel, keep, castle wall, castle gate, castle towers, well, ship at the port

Mod buildings: Academy, church, manor house

Buildings from other mods may require research to be upgradeable! Please read the description of the respective mod for information.


If you should encounter a problem with a recipe/upgrade that is not available although the research is done, please report here!

After you build the keep, the staff at the university disappear. There is still a list of research that can be done there but it does not start, nor are any resources brought in to begin research. You then can't upgrade the university or destroy it, trying to do either results in it just sitting there waiting for workers to do it, however no workers are assigned to it and no workers are required in the employment list.

I'm sorry, I don't understand all of what you say :( What does it mean when you say the staff "disappear"? Do they physically vanish? Do they get unassigned from the profession? Do they automatically get reassigned to the new building?
While no workers are assigned at the academy, no research can be started - that would be normal. Do you have workers still at the academy, but they don't do their work?
I'm sorry, but I don't understand hat actually happens.

Upgrading (and demolishing) is done by builders, not by the academy workers. You can't assign them directly, and if you have any other build work that they are busy with you can only try to increase the priority. That doesn't really work if you have road construction, that needs to be finished first (or you have to click increase priority a million times)

Hello,

the process stops at 100%. There is no massage like "Research finished" or somethimg. In the Wodden Carsle and the Stone Carsle.Also no book are written from my villagers.

I am aware of this bug that is affecting research at the keep and wooden fort, and am trying to solve it. There will be an update as soon as it is fixed. While the bug consists, please use the academy building for your research
