worse wear = better looking?
it seems that the worse the wear, the more paint is on the weapon. seeing as how the paint is what makes the weapon look good, I think it would make more sense to have more paint for higher wears.

i second this. it feels like having your weapon "battle-scarred" should remove the extra paint, since that what a battle scar would do anyways. the whole concept of the weapon is how it appears to have been painted by the mercs, so the more battle-scarred it is, the less paint will remain in the end.

Some people argue that the boneyard war paint looks better with worse wear.
