something is wrong with water
every time i try to make a boat it sinks no matter how much hollow plastic or water actervasion blocks i use

I am assuming you have a water plane placed and that there is no deactivator blocks in the world?

Specifically by "deactivator blocks" I mean the block called the Kill block is not in your world, because it disables all water scripts and would cause the effect that you are describing.

no it just does not work i have used the mod for sometime and i tryed to spawn in a boat that i made some time ago and it did not work and i tryed making new worlds but still no luck

Hi, i have the same issue today... thinks don't float since i reloaded the world.
The Player also doesn't float....

That is quite odd, I am not wntierly sure as to what the problem is and I will probably be able to test to see if an update brome things pretty soon, but for now I don't really know what to do to help.

the water sensor also doesn't react to submersion.

Well now, none of the water is working for long
Im trying to have 2 floating ships in my world but then the lua blocks stop working and all the ships have 0 bouyancy

People, be careful: according to the time of your comments, the first major update happened in the game, which was an overhaul in the phisics that includes water. It's likely you can't use Water Activators and I'm not sure how the rest of the blocks would work. Stay alert.

If you mean regular water, I suggest putting gasoline cans all over the boat
