Whenever I goto the spell section in the tab menu, my game crashes? Do I need SKSE or something?

@Nachoman Do you have any other mods conflicting with Midas Magic Evolved which it could be the problem.

perhaps the update added a texture that conflicts with another mod, ive been trying to figure it out, but havent found any mod conflicts, so it may be conflicting with either a vanilla or dlc spell texture

So far, it is the plasma spells

hmmm did u try arcane too. one of the beta testers had that issue with acid and arcane spells

waffleboy22 its the mesh. if it was a texture error. it would be either just a white effect or purple flying boxes.

i can see it affects all my plasma and arcanse spells so far

Alot of my spells are just exclamation points right now. Is there a confliction or something?

Unfortanately for me, the plasma rupture is still error (I really like this spell, so even with the error, I'll still use it :).)

First time user here, exclamation marks on the majority of spells, tried both here and the nexus version. Looks great, ill keep it subscribed regardless, im sure youll figure it out! :D if theres any sort of data I can help to narrow it down i'll gladly help also, any information you need.

If this helps, for me the exclamation mark mesh also appears on the spells I have from the original Midas Magic (i.e. Midas Meteor and Midas Blast(?) of Magnus).
EDIT: Also, this has only occured since it last updated.
UPDATE: I ran it vanilla with only Midas and the same error occurs, I can't see anything wrong in the Creation Kit. I would open the files but it's in .bsa.
