I think the creator just made it a beach chair because summer and all that
You sure he is not lazy?
Oh my god the autism emminating from this ♥♥♥♥.
"humor of being drunk is that he's drunk while in war" have you even >read< any of the comics? He's even more so dead when he's sober, the comics showed that off. Point is, you're trying to bash a taunt for not being 100% canon, but since when was Scout canonically confirmed to play bongo's, jump a pogostick and be viable for american football? When did the Soldier ever use a french horn in the comics? That bag of coffee beans that pop out of the floor magically with the soldier drinking a hot cup of nothing makes sense to you, but a drunk scottish man sitting in a beach chair to drink is where you draw the line? Buzz off mate.
The point for taunts is not in the killcam pose, it's how interesting they are and how they connect to the character. While yes, the beach chair would not work in a killcam scenario, people won't use it for that. They will use it like every other stationary looping taunts, as it always has. And the Demoman has been known for being lazy when work isn't involved, see TF01 Ring of Fired page 59. Comics are relevant to the taunts if people want them to be, which, in this case, works splendid because the Demoman is both lazy when nothing is going on and drinks all the time.
The Scout IS overly enthusiastic and confident to the point where yes, he could play in American Football because of how fast he is and how he could double jump over people. I wouldn't put it past him if he learned how to play the bongos or jumped a pogo-stick either; he sure loves to impress the ladies.
It's hard to argue with a man who thinks he's the king of the world. Nothing you say to him will change his mind, or even educate his brain. There is no point in responding to you twice unless we force ourself to, which I just did. It is just a taunt and if you want to make it as bad as world hunger, it's on you.
