Potential Improvements!
This is stinkin awesome to play. More awesome considering its the product of a single week. In case anyone is continuing this development (I remember something about the source code being released) Let's talk about how it can be tweaked.

Here's my list:
-Marines remaining count. Nuff said.
-Maps (I'm sure that's pretty obvious)
-Less chance of sentries and mines. When you have something like 6 sentries in a spot that's not easy to bile, things die.
-Perhaps less ammo and health. Or else, less in a single area, more of it spread out.

This isn't a tweak but I'll toss it out there. I'd presonally like to see longer matches with an upgrade style similar to the combat mod for aliens. Instead of points per kill, maybe as time progresses more upgrades get unlocked to choose from.

I also had the idea of a more wave based approach, where there's a finite number of alien spawns per wave, so it's less of a time based thing and more of a bunker down and defend type thing. Every wave the alien spawns increase and the chance of higher lifeform increases. (e.g. Wave 1 is skulks and a few gorges; 2 gets a couple lerks mixed in; 3 gets more lerks and maybe a fade or two; 4th gets more fades and maybe an onos; 5th and last is several onos (not at the same time though; or something along those lines). In this case the marines might need a bit of a buff in armor and health.

Anyhow, there's my thoughts, discuss! And awesome work creators.

Thanks for the kind words! We don't really have time for the major changes, but I'll get Marine count in there ASAP. I can get behind that.

I don't think people know they can discuss workshop mods...

Anyhow, Cool! Maybe some bored modder will take up the task of making a branch off someday.

I have to add something here...

If a Marine is dead, he can "revive" himself by going back into "ready room"/"team selection menu" and joining Marines again. I think new equipment spawns too, but i am not sure.
Same for a new player joining the Marine team, while the game is already running. New equipment spawns and he is alive.
I think it#s better if the new player - or the "rejoining" player - stays dead, after the prep time ran out.
