Are you playing on a dedicated server or local coop ? Are you using any other mods ? How it works is that it will scan for any treasure chests that have spawned and show that on the treasure map. Maybe another mod is using the same ID I picked for my treasure chest.
Should be highly unlikely considering the ID number I used. What you could do is use a location map and then look in the logs if you see any line starting with "Error". That will give me something to go on.
I'll do some more testing of my own see if it still works, maybe an update broke it.
