ok quick tips for flying
1: try not to tilt your mouse the moment you take off as youll crash into the ground
2. practise flying without auto hover ever in order to learn better helo control
3. practise flying straigh at buildings in bigcity and then leaning backwards to avoid them while catching yourself (tilt control) i see to many pilots just bail if they head for a building
4. to be good in a dogfight enusre to exercise target practise often this could be with props a buddy or if your good use the wire damage detector and wire output value to a monitor so you can read the damage of your gun plus know when your hitting your target
disclamer. this intended for noobs to WAC i see em every day this intended for helos and big city in my opinion is the best mapfor practising tilt control and overall manuverability

any time and also another tip, big city may be good for stunts and helicopter training when learnign to find a mobile target on the ground, but if you're looking for a map that is good for all-round flight I prefer gm_madgrass_V6, its the absolute largest map that source can handle. and it may feel small from the ground but that is because of the rough terrain. try it for yourself!

also I get this question every day, and it is in these very words "MY HELICOPTER/PLANE WON'T LIFT OFF! SOMEONE HELP! WHY CANT IT GO?" I'll tell you why, its because you don't have double power on, double power doubles the engine power so you can go further off the ground faster and it solves the issue for some people when they can't lift off. BUT the down side is is that you can't control your plane/helicopter as well because it's top speed will be doubled as well, so if you can get your plane or helicopter off the ground and engoy peaceful flight but you're curiouse to see what double power does, you're gonna have a bad time!

A good tip for dogfighting is to disable smooth view and shake view from the WAC options. That might take away the realism, but by doing that you get to be able to press B (default for "suit zoom") without having your plane/helicopter shaking, so you can take out targets from a longer range. Keep in mind though that while you are trying to kill somebody in this way, you are vulnerable to other players.

For some WW2 Aircrafts, You should not turn too short. That might cause you stall and in low alttitude you can even crash. Also in dogfighting, use Suit Zoom functions as well. Disable Smooth view and Shake view, you can feel it less shake when zooming. And try to got higher alttitude than enemy.

They won't fix them. This has been broken for years and the devs moved onto HVAP.
