Sorry for the very belated reply - this would likely not possible. I'm pretty sure you'd have to create a new material whenever you draw something, which wouldn't work with how this is set up. Sorry!

Actually that could work! couldnt you save the drawing as a material for a little square like the square for text screens! then you could have it as an overwrite each time you save it!
