This will sound pretty goofy (and might be) but hear me out. Say you up the fire rate and ammo by 3x-6x, increase the knockdown effect very slightly (5%-10%), and decrease the damage by 20%. The reasoning is that at the moment, it acts more like a stream of bullets. The accuracy drop-off and velocity are perfect, but at any point in time, the ability to suppress is focused in one point. Plus the lack of a sight, it acts a little more like and AK than an area-denial weapon. Increasing the knockback and firerate make it more effective acting on an area (esp. at keeping them knocked down) while decreasing the damage means that if they act as a team (or fast enough), they can still break through.

Let me know what you think - I pulled the numbers slightly out of thin air. The aim is to make it more of an area-suppressing/area-denying weapon and less of a godly-AK. The changes to the accuracy and bullet velocity were spot on though.

@ facemace Unfortunately, Im already experiencing problems with the high rof, it shoots so fast that in instances where framerate drops, you cant see the barrel rotate. The rest of your adfice sounds possible though, Ill look into upping the knockback.

alright, I increased the knockout effect a little, looks like it's also performing a bit better at long ranges too. If you get a chance, test it out and let me know what you think!

Sounds fair - I figured excessively high framerates would be problematic. Maybe make it shoot multiple projectiles? May not work if it's instance-limited.

Could you make some sort of reticle or have the recoil closer to the center of the screen? I find myself wasting a little under 100 rounds just finding where to aim.

i think it's a bit weak, needs a lot of direct hits to kill. It feels like shooting .22 rotary gun or it's just me?
