You ever figure this out? I have a T4 sitting here doing nothing but soaking up power because I don't know how to use him.

No, I tried making a blank bot, and it doesn't help.

I finally made some traction. I installed a VX2 chip into my T1 android and then uploaded his mind to the core. That killed the T1 body. I installed another VX2 chip into the blank T4 body and downloaded his mind into it. Boom. Upgraded from T1 to T4. Hope that helps.

Interesting fix

So it's actually simpler than what I did. All you have to do is make sure both androids are hooked up to the skymind via a tower and you can jump directly into the new body. No chips needed. This does kill the old body though. I suspect you can avoid that fate if you drop a chip of some sort into it before transferring, but I haven't tested that. Anyway, I am running all T4 androids now. Hope that helps.

I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work for me.
My blank android doesn't come up as an option.

I have sent over several already, but then I've used a T1 that i skill up with servers and then just switch to a new T4

I was seeing some severe bugs with the mod last time I played Rimworld so I've put it down for a while. But the method I described in my earlier response definitely works.
