Was looking through the mod options when one of my mind-duped surrogates suddenly dropped, because the duplicated mind apparently vanished. Looking into it, I saw a slider that (by default) said that mind duplication was 2 hours (I assume real-time?) by default.

This got me thinking with another setting, specifically the "duration of mind upload to Skycloud" - are Skycloud uploads not indefinite? Do they eventually deteriorate and disappear?

EDIT: ...huh, my vanished duplicate mind reappeared in the core later on. Weird. Think it was from a weird mix of a badly-timed virus/hack and a social fight that booted the copied mind from the body (which is actually pretty funny).

In that case, what are the various Duration sliders for?
