Not the national ideas, the research ones, Like Quality ideas or Trade ideas, they seem all vanilla.

Yeah, the idea groups aren't any different from the base game. I'm not sure if there are any plans to change that, it seems like the Anbennar setting is designed to be somewhat similar to EU4's in that the idea groups, institutions, etc. all still fit pretty well.
