There are rare flowers in the crates on the south-southeast island where the galleons are. The crates are just like beaver dams. you can get paste, mushrooms, flowers and wood from them.

I got a bronto and got the flowers & mushrooms (used theri for mushrooms) in the swamp south of the redwoods. and then rare flower also in the snowy areas. good luck
