Sphere of Influence
I do not understand what effect this is having. If it lit-up, it costs 50 PP. When you click on it, it says something else and that costs 50 PP. Thus far a total of 100PP. I have done this several times and I am not seeing what that does. I thought it allowed them to join my faction, but it does not.

I'm stuck with the same problem, was thinking it could allow you to puppet a country or put it in your faction but I can't even click the "sphere" button after spending 100PP in the "increase influence" :'(
