it should have full board resistance increase including melee, should have a slightly shorter charge time, have a timing gimmick like the targe, have its resistances power fall between the screen and targe, and resist knockback and damage from the screens charge. more than anything it would be a hard counter to demoknights while still offering that defensive wall for your team. and it would also pair off great with a vaccinator medic.

You could also go with crit resistance, similar to the Soldier's Battalion's Backup.

20% Fire resistant
20% Explosive resistant
10% Damage when bashing
-20 Hp

when bashed by targe and charge or splendid screen. Knocks back player and crits for 5 secs
well does look a lot heavier than charge or screen so maybe

-20% knockback
-15% explo. and fire dmg
-cannot have movement impeded while charging (while charging, scout's basballs wont bonk, no knockback by eplosions or bulets, no pyro airblast, not even stun by taunt kills like hunstman)
+50% knockback on charge target

good for things like soldiers and pyro who will rocket/airblast you to keep u away

Maybe a shield for a more tanky Demo but less mobility and damage.

+15 HP
+20% fire and explosive resistance
+15% bullet resistance
+30% crit resistance
Take less push force from damage
All melee crits are blocked but when blocked you are imobalized for 1 sec (can't move or attack)
-10% movement speed
-30% charge recharge rate
-10% charge distance
charges can't be interupted by stuns, airblasts, ect.
charges don't offer crits but stun any hit target for 2 sec

Every time you take damage 25% is not taken. This 25% goes to build a super charge, for the drawback of not able to do normal charges. Kind of a defense wep. Maybe drawback some speed or even give demo some. also -25% wep switch time.

charge dash is replaced with a shield bash upon right-click, stunning opponents for 3 sec (sort of like a critical holiday punch) but needs to recharge before using again

if its suppost to defend you from enemy demonights how about

25% crit resistance
25% meele resistance

Cannot charge

thats a defensive shield that protects you from demoknights and you cant charge so no crits for you either. balances out quite well

I think you should make it where you have -60% charge recharge and and should have The True Demonight where with any sword demo can use ( i dont know all of them ) will give you exrta damage like 10% or 20% idk. I hope you dont think this is a bad idea. And i know you said ONLY unusuals.
