Well, the action in Synergies MOD is a lot more intense, due to the world being quite crowded with hostile creatures. You might want to consider the low-population add-on, just make sure to verify it won't cause any trouble when you want to remove it. Wellcome to the guild! (^_^)

That's a bit of work actually. Synergies mod contains some essential gameplay changes, so it is unlikely that you'll be able to continue the character you created under Synergies mod.

IMO Play the mod and try it. See if it is something you enjoy. It makes the game a lot more challenging!

I"m enjoying the paladin with synergies mod. Some good survival builds now with all the updates.

are the paladin any good? i enjoy play it but i die 2 many at veteran, any sugestion?

When playing Synergies mod, you simply have to consider survivability. Invest a few extra stat points in vitality, use a shield and/or a weapon with lifesteal. More importantly, don't let mobs surround you, try to stretch groups of enemies thin. Also, dodge special attacks of Hero/Champion/Boss enemies. Even so, you're most likely going to need high-class equipment. You can either play through the game on "normal" and collect some rare/unique high-level items, or create a private mutliplayer server and reduce the difficulty on it if things get ugly. Regardless which class you choose, neglecting sirvivability on Synergies will always result in frequent deaths.
