2) if done properly, anything lower than elite difficulty feels like a chore, so elite is recommended.
3) the endgame hub Table Mountain is a challenge even on veteran, but going to it before hitting level 100 is ill-advised at best.
4) if you collect the right gear and socketables you can become virtually unkillable unless you're playing elite difficulty.
5) the classes this mod adds are most interesting, starting over as a necromancer/warlock/paladin or ranger is lots of fun. Also, skills are unlocked earlier, so starting over looks better to me.
6) I'm following this mod almost from the start, and never had major problems with it. Consider the low population add-on if you've got a lower end PC, otherways you might experience outage of memory, particularly in Act 2.
7) Mods make multiplayer rather difficult, as in order to play with someone you all have to have the same mods arranged in the same order in the mod manager. Keeping it as low as possible is advised.
One final question thought :D
I was wondering if Torchlight 2 or runic games have some sort of anti cheat they use online, as servers are hosted by individuals it seems. There are various cheat codes to be found, and I would hate for my hard work to be diminished by people who use those (when playing online) Furthermore, the save files are faily easy to access and manipulate and Duplicate as in other games where you find a rare gem, duplicate and bingo you have 2. I recall in Diablo 2 you were unable to play multiplayer once you activated a cheat code. Is that the same for this game?
Tl2 wasn't meant to compete with things like Diablo in how it built its economy, its simply a game to enjoy. SynergiesMOD adds to the leveling and adds tiered end game raid dungeons for you as well in a MMO style raid environment.
TL I've always consisered more a singleplayer game for several playthroughs. Still more then worth your money ofc.
