i have the same windows and no problem, if it crashes ON LOAD, its because of a saved game file. Either you had another mod that is required for whatever saved game you are loading under or it is corrupt, remove the file and it will load fine.

I'm having this same problem, there isn't a save because I havent even created a character yet. what do I do?

If I dont run the Synergies mod or the highloot addon the game runs fine, also on windows 10 pro 64bit

so you have never loaded the game with a mod and started a character at all? Regardless if its synergies or not.

For instance, if you have a synergiesmod character, play it, log out and load a different mod and remove synergies from your load list that last played character is que'd as your current character, the mod it requires is missing, and it POTENTIALLY will crash the game when loading.

Hm... sadly my game crashes while loading... but after reading this here, i will delete all my older chars and try it again....
long time ago i played torchlight WITH Synergie and i LOVED it!

I deleted my old characters, now I have no character (save) at all. I also only load Synergies, no other mods, but it still keeps crashing on startup. I don't even get to the main menu..

I use windows 10 x64 and I can play the game fine with normal or with other mods.

Having this same issue. Completely new install of TLII and Synergies. Crashes before reaching the main menu.
