Is paladin playable yet?
It says it is in alpha so I wasn't sure if I should touch it...should I just go with assasin?

The Palladin is still being tweaked, but is fairly playable for a while now.

Ya same here. Been waiting to play paladin. I'm starting to doubt if it will ever come.

Mod hasn't been updated since 2015, I don't think we will be seeing any more work for synergies.

I've been working on the paladin this week actually, its very playable, I am going to work on making all the skills have the right wording first.

I really hope the skills are getting fixed soon, I have been playing the paladin for a while now. Some things are just not working as I think they should, e.g. 'Simbiotic health', is seems to target the enemy while the discription more-or-less states that it should target your paladin and giving him/her increased health and mana regen.
