I also discovered that the synth is invulnerable to toxic waste.

The only other damage resistance I remember adding was bullet resistance as they usually take quite a few more rounds than other NPC's to kill

Also, the synth elite can survive a close rpg blast although they wont have much health left. note that they wont survive a direct hit with the rpg just a nearby blast

I see, im not sure damage reduction actually works, or doesnt seem to work. I use an addon that tells me how much damage i deal, and I always deal 5 damage no matter what. Doing the math, I can kill the synth elite in about 26 pistol shots.

Although the addon that I use could be completely wrong.

26 pistol shots seems about right to me assuming we're talking about 9mm which is a pretty bulky round

I see, I always think of 9mm being a weak round, I dont know real life guns a lot.

I mean it's no .50 bmg or 44. magnum but it's a thicker round than 5.56 and 7.62 rifle rounds. Granted 5.56 and 7.62 travel a lot faster but if your shooting a pistol right into the synths face from like 6 meters out then you'd get the same result as a rifle.

I looked in the lua files and I made the synths completely immune to acid, poison, radiation and open flames (fire). They are also bullet and explosive resistant but not immune to either type of damage.
