tool laggy while running skyboxes...
so ive been wondering why whenever I use a custom skybox such as the hl2 ep2 and ep1 textures its been lagging are u able to fix this?

Oh, sorry. Skybox rendering is indeed laggy and there is nothing to do about it for now. It's not a bug.

Also, you'd like to use the tool from Github. Some updates are still not finished but it's incredibly better compared with the current workshop version.

The only way to like literally make it stop lagging, is to go in its files and type in certain skybox names yeah and then it would appear in the skybox where it says HL2

Actually, I don't have lag using this function right now, nor do I know how to reproduce the problem. Could you run the newer version to see if you still have trouble with that? Just unsubscribe, download the latest code https://codeload.github.com/Xalalau/Map-Retexturizer/zip/master and extract it into steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons

You'll be able out-of-the-box to fully control the sky with the toolgun and behind the scenes there is new code running the changes, so...

And I'm almost done with this update.

Well, I'm going to add a custom skybox section so you'll be able to do it effortless.

About the next version, many great updates have been landing these last days and it's already a MUST. I'm even ashamed of the one in the workshop, people are suffering using it...

There are only 8 items holding me, now 9, then it'll be released for sure.

You know what? It's insane to wait any longer. I finish what is missing in version 14.

[Edit] There are only one check and three bugs left.
The tests on the dedicated server were impeccable.
