I beat them on the third try so you can do it too

i found that the regular infantry is the key to holding if you can keep calling manpower from the remnants to fill em out while power armor should be used to push them back

I found that out too, you should mix in non-power armor infantary to fill the gaps in your line.

Get 10 width PA divisions, with sup explosives, flamer, machinegun. Go throught Pale Folk and Paradrop onto Eighties. Get FEV supersoldiers and refined warfare with sup companies boost and brotherhood of steel path, build minimum level 3 outposts on border poison NCR. At least it worked for me. https://imgur.com/a/RbDnt4Q Major factor was getting help from Brotherhood of Steel and Scorpions in the war so normal infitary isn't bad idea

Delay the war until you out tech the ncr- Fully upgrade support divisions with all the air support

How to beat the NCR? You don't.

Something to remember: If the PP cost for hiding your activities gets too expensive, then you can stop taking focuses to get an extra +1 PP a day. This can buy you some more time if you're still making preparations.

I stand corrected I beat the NCR. Normal infantry is the key.

The Brotherhood Steel rangers,scorpions declared war on the ncr and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on them but they the NCR had one thing THE DIVISIONS. They had 3 times more than the other 3 so they beat all 3 of them but then caesar came ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on them and when caesar's civil war happened I declared war on vulpus legion(console allowdiplo) I thought it would be good to get me even more territory as the enclave but then Caesar annexed Vulpus legion and turned it back into the NCr then I had a problem bc NCR had no divisions but had the factories so they quickly got there ♥♥♥♥ together and there were just pockets of territories I couldnt get since i had 3 24 armies. So I wait until caesar annexes vulpus legion and wait a bit before fighting the NCR.

agian the key to winning is to use regular infatry with anti tank and MGs maybe some explosives and definatly get the Hospital upgrade to preserve manpower and the use your power armor divisions to attack you wanna let the NCR grind itself against a wall at the start of the war and wipe their MP pool out before you just walk over the top of them

I never had any difficulty kiling NCR divisions at all. My only difficulty was having enough divisions to plug all the holes.

Thats been the biggest issue for me as well, and that becomes even more apparent when you want to take the fight to the Legion. Good god all those divisions.

I'm still trying to get the hang of getting the Enclave to work - the low manpower means timing is key, IMO. Go too early and you get rolled by 100 NCR divisions, wait too long and the game devolves into a multi-nation war where you just cant cover enough ground.
