Edit: I turned the mod off and nothing seemed to break (the quest giver option went away and I still had the slave), but still something that probably should be fixed
>sells stuff to trader and gets up to 309 silver
>talks to rando
>pays 75 to get told about a quest for a rando item that I'll risk my life for if it's worth
>receives a note
>is asked for 234 more silver before getting to go on mission
>mfw when I realize I got snookered into a fee
>doesn't have a trade beacon and can't make one for the final transaction anyways
>mfw I probably just got scammed altogether
After unload the mod i dont got any issues
My bug, with this mod installed, right before a caravan arrives, the Rimworld home screen flashes for just long enough to notice it.
It happens whenever I accept a shaman healer quest, no quest is given, no popup or mention in the log, and then a caravan owned by myself enters a new map instance (Set-up camp, new colony, item stash, etc.) This happens regardless of if my caravan was created before or after I accepted the invalid quest.
The bug causes a 'dead' instance with no existing pawns to be created, as well as an instance that your caravan pawns enter, but they cannot be reformed into a caravan nor entered to see and interact with those pawns. Along side this, it also causes the entire game rendering window to turn grey, only showing the UI.
The bug is seemingly reliable to trigger for me, always happening after an invalid quest.
The fix if you accidentally accept an invalid quest is to save and restart the game, not just reload the save, before the caravan arrives at it's location. You can save and restart after the invalid quest is accepted and it wont cause a grey screen, but once you do have the grey screen, saving and reloading doesn't fix it.
