and arkanokd, i disagree. No much reason? even having 20 polymers on the surface to collect is very useful, specially in earlier stages of the game, where you need to avoid asking for polymers to earth. Ïn fact, these small amounts of polymers are not so small when you spawn two or three meteor storms. Easily you could have 100+ polymers to collect, and you will realize that transports for whatever reason keep gathering metals and leaving the polymers instead, when you need them the most.
I can tell you that in all my, more than 25 runs so far, i always rely on polymers scattered on the ground to advance, i never EVER ask for polymers to earth. And thats how it should be. At least once you learn how to play the game, of course.
A filter where you could chose, metals, polymers or waster rock will be just perfect and probably the most useful feature in this mod lol
After a few test, i must say this mod is a pain to use. I mostly wanted it to clear the surroundings of waste rock, but the auto-gather waste rock option in this mod is completely dumb. Lovely to see my transports enter in a loop delivering and picking up again the same waste rock over and over again.. lovely.
Choggi's mod rctransportcheats works much better in this case, because transports will deliver the waste rock in deposits automatically, and for me is way more useful than this over complicated mod. The only thing i will miss are the resource filters, but apparentlly a mod of this type cant have it all.
Nvm, neither Choggi's transport cheats or this one work properly as intended (sometimes it just doesnt work, at all). In the end, to avoid complications and headaches, better to avoid this mod and the other one from Choggi's. Sadly at this point it has become a trent where modders dont even properly test their mods before releasing them.
