What games are needed ?

What does *Remount your game* mean? Just restart it?

Geez.

Yk what mounting in Garry's mod is right? That menu in the bottom right that enables game content if you have the game?

Exactly, idk why the problem persists. Me and Vrej both tested it together by unmounting our games and playing the map and everything worked.

I think the problem could possibly be with people who use those games as legacy addons. As those do not work as they should if they were mounted, they often replace models and textures instead of adding them as standalone into the game. I don't expect you to create a fix for people who use it as legacy and you really shouldn't. Anyone who uses games as legacy addons should be willing to go through extra trouble to make maps work. That's the price you pay instead of money, the price is inconvenience.

So how exaclty do you get the missing textures? EXACTLY. I'm dumb so just give me a step by step process or something.

remounting my games didn't work

To all the people having the ash particle being a missing texture: I have identified that you need at least regular Half Life 2, I tried packing the texture in the map, but it's not working. But in my honest opinion, why are you even playing GMod without even having Half Life 2 mounted?!

I already had Half life 2 mounted but the texture is fixed now, thanks for the help.

the ash comes from hl2 ep 1
