Feature Requests
If you have any requests for changes or new features, post them here so I can keep track of them. I can't promise I'll do everything or even that it will be possible, but I'll see what I can do.

To see my todo list for this mod, check its Trello board[trello.com].

Everything below is left as a historical note, but is unlikely to be frustrated as I'm now using Trello to track this.

Things which I will probably do (no longer updated):
  • Figure out how Lua Console adds a monospace font, and see if I can use the same technique.
  • Make clicking on the homeless/jobless numbers cycle through the colonists in question, like the button on the info panel. I'd love to be able to do this for stored resources as well, but I'm not sure how feasible it is.

Done (no longer updated):
  • Sorted out the thousands separator since Froce kindly pointed out the LocaleInt() function which does what I need it to
  • Fixed the advanced resources tooltip not attaching in the same way as the others, for certain resolutions and UI scales
  • Added an option to make the bar take up the full width of the screen, to give more room to space out the sections
  • Added an option to make screen scrolling less sensitive, or disable it entirely
  • Uploaded a new mod to show your current resources when on the resupply screen. It's... not exactly my best work as this proved to be surprisingly difficult, but hopefully it should be good enough until this functionality is included in the base game.
  • Added a clock to the bar.
  • Added an option to change the offset from the top of the page, to allow for things like the cheats menu. Ideally I'd like to make the position entirely configurable, but I'm not sure how feasible that is and I don't have any current plans for that.
  • Added an option to abbreviate thousands so that 2345 will come out as "2.3k", etc
  • Added an option to show current stored quantities of grid resources
  • Added the ability to set UI scale independent of the main UI scale, so you can choose to make it bigger (or smaller) without changing the scale of everything else.

Visible resource bar on rocket screen, so we can see what resources we need without exiting back to the main screen. For those of us with bad short term memories. :P

I don't know if thats even possible since the rocket screen has its own UI but it would be nice.

Consider using a monospaced rather than proportional font, so the width of strings doesn't change-- ie, your "2,000" versus "2,111" example.

Disable mouse scrolling. Does anyone even use that feature? I havent used mouse scrolling since 1998

I'd like to have a tooltip about comfort and minimal comfort for birth giving.
since the flavour text of the medical buildings and others indicate, that the comfort is dome specific, maybe within the info panel of a selected dome?

Zairya, that's already in the base game. Dome -> Colonists -> Bottom of the hover panel.

a vertical position option would be awesome. i would love to be able to place the bar on the right or left side of my screen

This option is now in. It docks to the right of the bar and lets you choose between HH:MM and HH:MM:SS

I'll give that some thought but I'm not sure about it - a vertical bar will end up having to be as wide as the widest element, which could make it use up a lot of space, and it will probably have to have a generous minimum width specified to stop it expanding/shrinking as the numbers change.

would be nice if you could add how many oxygen, water, and energy is currently stored in all tanks and batteries without hovering the mouse over that resource. That's something i'm missing.
