The auto metal extractor works everywhere, but the rare metal extractor not, was that planned? Can the rare metal extractor produce infinity rare metals?

It's intended. For late game there is a mine which requires no deposit at all and produced both metals and rare metals infinitely.
The normal metal extractor does not require a deposit because metals are essential for survival, rare metals are only for money.

Edit: Technically rare metals are required for some production too, but for that deposits should be used until endgame. Metal is more widely used.

i have several automated metal mines but every once in a while they will stop working. i get a notification "building not working" but maintenance and power are fine. tuning them off and on again works to solve it

Resources might be full or an idiot might have broken it. This happens a lot in the base game too.
If it happens again please make a savegame and upload it for me to look at and / or make some screenshots of the situation so I can see what is going on.

I don't Know but it seems that your artificial sun is not providing light to my solar panels

I'm not positive that its this mod, but it is the only mod I have that affects mining. I just unlocked the Project Mohole wonder and when I went to build it, it shows a no symbol and says you can only build this building once.

I have the same thing but I believe I have an answer as to why this is happening. When you build either of the automated extractors provided by the MOD, the rare metal or regular metal ones, it prevents you from building the Mohole Wonder. Can anything be done to fix this, @FGRaptor?

I will look into it.

Actually this issue is a problem with all wonders and buildings that are copied from them, as the game counts them as the same instance of the wonder for the purpose of building the wonder - instead of counting the ACTUAL original wonder building template...

This will take a bit longer to fix.
