Bug relating to fishing
The server owner left a post relating to this (|HCM| FarmerBill). The server runs Evolve admin mod along with Point Shop. I don't know what causes this but when you try to fish you hear the rod swinging but it does nothing and when you hold right click you just hear a rapid swinging sound. Just thought I would mention these mods incase you know if that would have anything to do with it but I am sure the owner of the server tried running without any other addons and had the same problem.

Yes, I know.....But it does not work, which I said. I just mentioned that right clicking sounds as if you are swinging rapidly.

You have to be looking at water from above. It all depends on the angling

Yes, but no matter what angle or position you aim at the water from, it is as if it does not detect it. I know how the fishing works because I have tried it before in singleplayer (not on other multiplayer servers though), the reason I am asking here is if there are known conflicts with other mods or such.

Just so you know it also depends on what map your on, something to do with material type. I was on a map the otherday where you could fish and bottle water from trees, not sure why. Put me in mind of original pokemon where you could fish the statues at the entrance to the gyms.

yeah rollinghills, for some reason it works fine for me in singleplayer on that map but when I'm on a server it doesn't.

I will have a look. Are you using advanced fishing rod or normal one? Are they both broken?

Just to jump in here, regarding my post (which my administrator has now made a topic on). It is currently occuring with both the basic fishing rod, and the advanced one. It is uncertain as to where the problem lays, but we are guessing it is something to do with the water detection? But if that is so, it's odd how holding right click spams a sound effect (like the rod coding itself has some sort of error). We have attempted to solve this by temporarily removing other addons (including Evolve admin mod) to ensure it is not a confliction, however this has not solved the issue.

I cannot confirm this. Fishing works perfectly for me both in singleplayer and multiplayer with both fishing rods. The right clicking bug is confirmed.

Unsure tbh, I am just an administrator of the server :D
I have asked the owner. All I know about the server that it runs Pointshop and Evolve alongside Stranded.
