I'm aware of this issue, and I don't yet have a plan with how I'm going to handle General Splitting during the Civil Wars yet, it's likely I might just add some general according to events, which is mostly why I haven't even considered Spain on my list of Priority Nations yet, mostly because of the Spanish Civil War.

It's come to my attention that there might be issues with names that have Accents with them, with files not being transfered over to steam's workshop servers properly to be DL'd and thus these generals are portraitless. I'm currently going to attempt to remedy this first before the big update.
