Everything is invisible or missing textures (i have the IWAD installed)
I do have the IWAD correctly installed, but it's refusing to work and every enemy is invisible or tells me to go to the workshop.

Are you using the 64-bit build of Garry's Mod? Because that seems what's causing it to not work.

I tried switching to the normal 32-bit version and it started working.

I am using the 64-bit version because it crashes less often.

Go to your library and right click Garry's Mod. Then, click to properties and select "Beta". You should be able to switch to 32-bit there.

I've had issues with gmdoom before and most of them were the result of having chromium installed. It could be that.
