I for one love the pollution stuff and would love to see more, I greatly desire to lord over my industrial waste land while blasting the Isengard theme

I think given that pollution in the game is based on ground tiles and not really smog, the best way to implement this would be adding unique debilitating effects to oil spills, and maybe having it reduce fertility over time if it's on a farmable tile.
