Oil harvest rate question(s).
Sorry if these questions are answered elsewhere but basically i want more oil, faster, how do get pls?

- How do I increase the amount of oil piped up or the speed of pumping?
- Do more colonists operating resource consoles pump faster?
- Does multiple wells on a single oil reservoir effect the speed or pressure of harvest?
- Should i put wells on all oil patches to get the best L/day?

I'm trying to pump oil up using Rimefeller and crack it into chemfuel then convert to EMC from Project RimFactory Insanity, i wanted to try using the autocrafters as well to operate the console but that doesn't seem to work so I've locked an android in a room with a resource console for now lol.

you simply need to drill more wells, you can put as many wells as you like into a single field, but it will drain quickly, deep wells have extremely large reservoirs so make use of all shallow and deep fields

when your crude tanks are full the wells will shut off automatically and the reservoirs will start to slowly refill

you only need 1 pawn manning 1 console for all refining work on the map, nothing improves the speed of the machines except for the crude cracker which has power modes so make sure its set to maximum power

Do make note that the crude cracker on wide open does use up an impressive 9600w of power (yes, that's the correct number of zeroes).
