The map is a little bit more demanding than the normal CS:GO map, but those huge FPS drops don't need to be I guess.
I don't think mapmakers should care about getting a FX 8320 user more than 50 fps in 2018..
Also there are alot of people who don't have the money to spend all of theirs into new PC parts. And if some mapmakers don't care about optimization, I don't think such maps should be above others that do care about it.
I know my CPU isn't the best, I bought my computer when I knew only little about hardware, but when other maps (and games) work fine I don't want to buy a new CPU (and mainboard etc.) only because of a few developers or mapmakers that won't optimize their maps. And if they won't, I won't play those maps.
And alot of other people won't do it too, because of low framerates.
@sami2k I also think they will optimize it I just wanted to address the problem. But I guess the map creator is experienced enough. :)
Worse
There's definitely something seriously wrong on your end if you are being honest.
This thread was only created to make sure the mapmakers know about the performance issues some people have or could have. I guess they already do, but just in case I made this thread.
It's their decision whether they optimize their map or not, but I guess it's very likely.
Why wouldn't they do it? After all it's for their maps popularity. And when many people have 30FPS because of their end, but 60+ or even more on other maps it won't look good.
They aren't any lazy creators, they are very diligent. So I guess it won't be hard work for them like for others.
