Anyways, for the RP'ers and plain nuclear war/history buffs, is there a way of putting a DEFCON sign(s) system into the game?

If it takes too much work it's no problerm, I understand how much work it has taken thus far, but I think it would be fun to be on DEFCON 4 (heightened security) and be able to switch to DEFCON 3 (preparation for launch), it would cause enormous amounts of tension :D
