Devouring as a Dragon
What does it do exactly? I noticed that it will sometimes give the traits of the person but does it do something else? Does it give you a portion of that person's stats or something else? Does anyone know?

Its mainly just a flavorful execution method.
That you can gain traits from the ones you eat is because the same devour event cannibal characters get is used.

I am not even sure if this is intended as I see gaining traits as more of a vampire thing which have a similar mechanic.
