Vampires.
I can not seem to ever be able to have children with a wife as a vampire, apart from turning.. :/

The trait when they're discovered makes them infertile, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a hidden fertility modifier when not discovered. (It would have to be hidden to not prevent marriage to mortals when they don't know yet.) The undead aren't supposed to be able to get biological children with the living; there are only a handful of very recent interpretations where that has been a thing, it doesn't fit traditional themes.

for game purposes, turning someone into a vampire gives you the option to make them your "child" (even though they can be completely unrelated to you).
This is the intended way to get children, as in historical myths, vampires were completely dead, somewhat like zombies, and so could not have children.
