How to begin combat?
I noticed all the combat buttons are greyed out. Pressing them does not start combat for me. Is there a way to begin the turns or an extra step I am missing?

? what you mean? start round gives you the initiative list.
Did you read the Quick Start Guide and the rules?
The combat you do like in the normal boardgame.
the buttons are grey as a design not as not clickable
