UI disappears and freezes [game becomes unplayable]
I am using tons of mods alongside, but recently I've experienced a few issues and I'd like to have your thoughts on them.
Before we begin, I have:
- Verified Installation Files (twice now)
- Removed all the INIs from the Config folder
- Removed most of the saved games so that I have very few

Screen Lock
So essentially, when I get a new Spark unit from the Proving Grounds, the screen shows the message that there's a new Spark unit, and to Continue. However, when I click on the "Continue" button, the UI disappears and nothing happens. I can move the mouse, I still hear the music and sounds, but pressing ESC won't bring back the menu, and nothing seems to allow me to recover the UI, so the game becomes stuck. Can't even use the mouse to unzoom or the keyboard arrows to move the camera around. Nothing.

The same happens when I click on the "Promote Soldier" screen.

I have 0 conflicts in the mods list, so I'm honestly unaware of what the issue could be.

Can someone please help?

Additionally, I'd like to add that this also happened in the "Operations Parallels" mod, which granted the Doom soldier, so once I got the soldier, I received the message of new soldier added, but then boom: UI disappears and I can't do anything else (with music, sound and animations playing normally).

I also can't click on "Escape Covert Action", so the "Escape Covert Action" doesn't work when my soldiers are ambushed. So the mission appears on the Geoscope, but I can't click it. The only way to not lose my soldiers is to use the CompleteCurrentCovertAction command, but this is not what I wanted. I believe it could be related to this overhaul mod, so this is why I'm posting it here...

I normally delete the INI files from the Config folder and verify the game files, but I can't, for the life of me, understand how this happens. I have 0 conflicts in the mods list, so I'm honestly unaware of what the issue could be.

Is there any console command I can use when the screen freezes and the UI disappears? Something that could force me back into the main Avenger view..?
