Random Classes not truly random ?
After a lot of testing, it seems like to me that Random Classes isn't as random as I thought it would be. Every time I start a new game, it seems like the randomizer only takes about 10 different specialization and that's it. So I end up with a lot of soldier having very similar trees and similar weapons, while certain perks and certain weapons are just totally absent for that entire playtrough. Am I just really unlucky or is that some hardcoded issue ?

Im having the same problem, it feels like its better to use the standard classes

That's pretty disappointing. Not having random classes removes the fun for me

I might be wrong but you could change it by editing XCOMSecondWaveOptions.ini

find and edit the line below
+ConfigProperties = {"COMMANDERS_CHOICE_RANDOM_POOL_COUNT":{"Value":"10"}}
change the 10 to whatever number you want

omg I actually think that fixed it. I'm still very early in a new game and yet I've seen a lot more different perks and weapons combinaisons then I've seen in any previous game
