issues taming hyenadons?
the taming effectiveness on hyenadons seems to constantly drop for me when i try to feed them. i'm using prime meat bait arrows. i swear i tamed some earlier with regular meat bait arrows, so i'm not sure what's going on now. in both instances they were free-roaming in the wild, no cages. when it worked, i was using a bow. now i'm using a crossbow.

i see some stuff saying there's issues with the vanilla taming involving alphas? i don't know why that would affect immersive taming tho. when i first tamed some, there were three in total and i'm pretty sure one of them had the alpha buff. now i think there's 4-5.

oh- it is kraken's. i had read that it shouldn't be an issue. is it? is there a way to fix it? other dinos have been fine. thankyou for responding!

thanks to your tip i went and turned off the kraken hyenas and now i'm able to tame them again ^^ wish i could have both, but, this will work.

If a modded dino is created a child of the vanilla class, IT can apply the same creature specific fixes. Kraken's likely created a copy instead of a child, so the variables aren't inherited and can't be applied unfortunately.

so grateful to modders like you that not only make such wonderful things for us to enjoy for free, but make them configurable so we can combine different mods together like this with minimal issue. also thanks for being patient and civil with me for a question that i'm sure you've gotten a lot ^^;
