Melting Pots
The Melting Pots rule mentions "alt history paths", does this imply alt-history melting pots or simply alternate ways to get historical melting pots? And if it does imply alt-history melting pots is there somewhere we can find a list of these new alt-history melting pots?

When I refer to historical vs alt-history melting pots, I simply mean historical cultures vs alt-history cultures that result from melting pot events. Essentially my question being are there new, alt-history cultures that result from some melting pot events, or are there just different ways of getting historical cultures.
