So I am a Hellenic Augustus of the restored Western Roman Empire (restored as the Romulus Augustulus). I want to reunite the empire and the quickest method I can see is spamming Great Holy Wars against the crumbling ERE. However, I am blocked from doing so as the "period of Great Holy Wars" has yet to begin. Does this event happen earlier in this mod or do I have to wait for Islam, another Pagan faith to reform, or a Christian pope to declare a crusade? Thanks for a response.
