Okay, hear me out.
I understand this would be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to program in, but what if you integrated this into the Kamikaze taunt like the Lumbricus Lid? It would go like this:
Soldier take one of the pistols.
He says "C'mere, cupcake."
He points it to his head.
He pulls the trigger.
He explodes.
He doesn't gib. Instead, he loses his head.

The Lumbricus Lid only makes a sound effect play during the Soldier's kamikaze taunt.

It would literally be ineffective to have to animate an entirely new taunt for a single item. Also I am confused by your description as you state "He explodes. He doesn't gib. Instead, he loses his head." So his head explodes off? How would that work with the Kamikaze taunt already existing? Would the taunt even kill at this point or what?

Head explodes, sorry. Also, I said that I understand this would be more or less impossible. I just thought it was a cool idea.
